s/toneage (Munich, day 5)

in the middle of a massive stone city:
delicate models of a possible future
made of wood
don’t touch, a sign says

looking at it, i can’t help but think:

everything is in perfect balance, in all elements
up until the frame
that adds homo sapiens
and his human touch
to the scene

(but oh, all the he/art, to no end of rooms)

this January, during a trip to Munich, i visited the “Pinakothek”, Munich’s museum of modern art. i was curious for their Donald Judd room – which was gone already at that time. but there was an extra exhibition up, on wood as alternative material for architecture, with models. more about the visit, with photos from the art areas, here:  art moments in Munich
