Adding a tiny touch of a color that is so rare in winter: purple. And so nice to come home with the flowers, and find that they neatly fit into the new white vase my sister gave me in December.
Now I just looked for a lilac quote, and had to grin: I read the book, but didn’t remember where the title is coming from:
