photography / memory (gone, but not forgotten)

forgotten

Still thinking about the new wordpress photo challenge theme  “Gone but not forgotten”. It could be a definition for photography: each moment that we encounter is unique – the light, our mood, the way we look. And photography is a way to capture that very moment from our angle, with all its details and characteristics. To make it last when it is gone, and to carve it into our memory.

Like this moment above, with the contrast of the old tracks below and the modern highway above, and with the green and yellow trees.
