abandoned, or meant like that?

the new theme of the wordpress photo challenge is: “Abandoned”. i blogged a photo yesterday already, and here’s a second one – a place that left me wondering if it was meant that way, or if someone re-created an abandoned or broken bench in this new and very yellow way – or if that construction was meant like that from start?
