this is a photo from Mallorca island – you probably wouldn’t expect it, but Mallorca has a large mountain range with several lakes. the lakes are also water reservoirs – and in summer, shrink to smaller size. during a phase of draught, some trees grew in the area that now turned to lake again: lake trees.
