This blog started in summer 2011 as a creative journal of taking part in the 100 Days Project. In January 2012, it was my journal for the River of Stones.
In March, this blog turned into a daily photo blog for a while, following the idea to post a photo a day – with each photo leading to the next in theme, but in changing places.
Since July 2012, the 100 Days Project is on again, the facebook-group page is here, and more about the project is up here.

My usual blog, with more about me, journey notes, books i read etc. is:
life as a journey, and my website with a more structured version of my projects is: blueprint21.
Also, you can find more about the creative projects, with links, in the archive.

the blog title “p art ici pation n” is a word play, “ici” is french for: “here”.
Thank you for taking the time to view my post “shot from the pocket”…
Hi Dorothee. I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award. You are doing a great job.
Thanks so much for the nomination and the feedback, and such good timing – just yesterday i switched themes so that the previous photos are shown, too, like a domino leading to the next day.
Beautiful photos! Hoping to see more of the photos as we’ve added you to our list of blogs to follow! 🙂

I am in awe of your eye to capture such stunning pictures….
Really awesome. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and the like.
thank you very much for visiting my blog and for the follow. I appreciate it very much.
Thank you for your visit to my creative space. I’m not sure why your comment ended up in the spam folder. I may have to post it without the link…I don’t see the word cloud the way you do when I am in the program. I guess it is just the way the particular wordpress theme works. I have bookmarked this site so I can come back and find your other sites.
Cheers.
Thanks for stopping by
Thanks for liking my entry into the blogosphere (and I may not have even spelled that correctly). 🙂 Your pictures are worth meditation. May I share some writing as it comes to me with you?
Appreciate your dropping by and that you enjoyed some of my endeavors. I enjoy the composition and how your eye see’s things. Stay curious.
Hi, I am Ritu from the blog ‘Beyond Beauty Tips’. I saw that we were connected through my blog. I announced my new domain a month ago but I haven’t seen you there yet.
Consider this as a personal invitation from me for my blog ‘Things To Rave About’ (http://toraveabout.com) which is just BBT at a new address.
Hoping to see you there. Thanks!
dear Dorothee,
Funny how one gets used to leaving comments for perfect strangers after a time. Still, it is of course, in the knowing that we all have at least two things in common, writing and sharing.
And so it is, that I wish to leave these two thoughts here with you in this moment, inspired by the title of your journal River of Stones:
firstly some words which I hope I am correctly attributing to Gustaw Herling-Grudzinski, Island and other prose (2000), “Stones have a characteristic that is beyond reason.” and,
secondly, a song which I love for it’s simple honesty of sentiment.
Beautiful pictures, Dorothee. Thanks for following my blog and thereby leading me here.
